Thank You mama
Somebody somewhere was praying that night,
When Jesus came in and I saw the light
It must have been mama,
I’ve heard her before
As she knelt by her bedside
Her tears touched the floor
Thank you mama for praying for me
If you had not prayed then where would I be
They called you old fashion but you loved the Lord
As her prayers touched the master.
Her tears touched the floor
She held to the altar and wouldn’t give in
Till she knew all her children have been born again
Just an old fashion mama but she loved the Lord
As her prayers touched the Master
Her tears touched the floor
Taken from Sharon's blog. Babe, this is really beautiful.

Yesterday, we celebrated mother's day at church. The children's church were performing a dance presentation specially for the mothers. So pure, innocent and contented the performance was. The children really gave their best in the presentations as their tribute and love to their mothers.
There I was sitting at the overflow rooms watching in amusement at the 'cute' presentation. As I sat there, enjoying, I couldnt help but wondering, how many persons, childs out there, wouldnt be able to celebrate mothers day? Or even worse they never experience the meaning of mother in their lives? What about those who grew up in rejection, bitterness and unfavoured by the woman who brought them into this world? Saying that they are unplanned or worse, bringing bad luck? What about those, through circumstances never had to say "Thank You" with gratefulness to the mother, because of the strained relationship over the years? What about those who was tossed into the street because of self-centered-ness?
Mother's day should be celebrated as a call to LOVE.

Mom,
As time goes by, I could see you ageing before my eyes. I could see you moving from one phase to another phase of your life as a mother. I remembered two years back, you sent me packages of food and wrote my name on the tin. But you spelt my name wrong. Then I realized that ages really catched you up. During my last trip home to see you, you always mentioned to me how happy you are to have all your seven children living in fear of God and love the Lord. I could see your contentment, mom.
Today, I want to Thank you for countless of things. You are amazing and really amazing. You inspires us children and until today, your strengths still remain the same. Even through the painful tragedies that happened to the family, you remain strong and take things in positive stride. You encouraged us to feed the people, serve them with whatever we have in the kitchen, no more and no less. I really admire you for that. Thank you for your disciplinarians scoldings, beating and smacking during my childhood days. It makes me a better person today. Thank You for teaching me all the biblicals story, it made me love reading the bible and learn more. For without it, I would be lost today. Most of all, thank you for the countless prayers. For without it, I wouldnt be what I am today.
Terima Kasih, Ina'. Tuhan ngeperuan ulunmu.
