Last Weekend

Last weekend, I was at Central Market Kuala Lumpur to support friends performing for the International Tourism Cultural Performances which was joined by reps from Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and India.

With a last minute preparation due to short notice given by the organizer, the dance performance was quite disorganize at first but I could not help but feel proud of my people. Seeing the beautiful beads amongst other participants and the honor of opening the ceremony and closing made my heart swelled with pride. Sounds patriotic?? ;-)

Enjoy the pictures taken from my phone camera :

Malaysia Truly Asia dance.

The sarong is way to short right?

Counting on the steps again..

Now they begin to enjoy.

On the stage performing the hornbill feather dance.

This is the first time I really watch Punjabi's performance and surprisingly I enjoyed it. The dance are vibrant and energetic with all male dancers giving all out. I enjoyed every beat of it.

And I am really proud of my heritage.
