Quickie II

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.

"Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behaviour in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

2 Peter 3:13-16
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week has been a busy week for me. I was participating in one of the fair for 2 solid days last weekend. Sacrificing my good rest and skipping church and such. Monday for half of the day I 'absent' myself from the office to accompany Maurice and Shaeda from STB Kuching. Thanks Sabrina! So sweet of you to make time with us!

The rest of the days was spent juggling with enquiries and proposals.

End of the day, I felt drained out, tired and sleepy.

And again, the fear and uncertainties sneaking at bay. "What if..." "What should.." "How i wish.."...what..how..what..how... sneak sneak sneak

Then the Lord speak to me of 2 Peter 3:13-16. This words really enlightened me of God's existence in my daily life. Even in my business. Now I make Him my partner. That's why I PRAY AND I BELIEVE. I have peace.

All glory and honor belongs to God alone!

Dr John sms-ing us about this things of sacrificing yourself to seek for the kingdom of God. Not long after that, Devong called me asking my reactions as the night before I was complaining of sleepiness and tiredness. We were joining the prayer meeting with our cell group at Sri Hijauan and I really could not concentrate because I was so tired and sleepy. We had a blessed time but too bad that I did not take part.

I believe God understand. I remembered what Benny Hinn mentioned about this temple of God. Our body is temple of God. How can the Holy Spirit use a tired body and sleepy mind? I know that God can refresh you and take away the tiredness from you. But still we are human. Next time, I have to ensure that I have enough rest before I come into the presence of the Lord.
