As I mature

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care,
some people are just assholes.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust,
and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you'd better have a big willy or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others
- they are more screwed up than you think.

I've learned that you can keep vomiting
long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do,
unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place!

I've learned that 99% of the time when something isn't working in your house,
one of your kids did it

I've learned that the people you care most about in life
are taken from you too soon
and all the less important ones just never go away.

Pain beyond words

I never knew that it still hurt and painful losing my elder brother. I always thought that I have overcome all the griefs and sorrows. But this morning, as I did some 'general cleaning' in my inbox deleting old emails, inadvertently I came across this mail about the massive search for missing helicopters in Sarawak. Suddenly, i felt tears welled up at the back of my eyes and my heart sank. I still could feel the pain. No amount of words could express the pains and loss. I still missed him dearly albeit knowing God's purpose and timing is always right, I accept it with positive mind.

I hate blogging my sad thought and insights of life here but my brother said, it'll help. I admit the truth whereby it helps me in many ways. As I've came across many bloggers and reading their blog, little much it did helped me.. soothing for the soul, some people say. We speaks through words and sentences. Bit by bit we helped each other without their knowing. We learned through other people's life as we read them and we open a space in our life for them to savour our experience and insights of life. It builds up camaraderie.

No spoken language. Just words on the screen. And insights to ponder.
