Mom

Like other mothers, she shaped us children as what God assigned her to be.

She is perfectionist when it comes to household, she is neat and tidy, she loves beautiful things, she adores her grandchildren, she love all her son and daughter in laws as her own children, she cares deeply for orphan - because she grew up as an orphan, she shaped us children to appreciate beauty in flowers and stuffs - resulting why we love decorating houses with flowers, she encouraged us to love cooking - she was once a good baker as she learn from missionaries wives, she believes in spanking children as form of discipline as it was mentioned in the book of Proverbs, she loves God and she prayed for us children, in law and grandchildren until today.

Seeing her aging, and getting dependent nowadays is not easy. Especially when I used to see mom managed the household in her organized manner but today, she is getting restless and slow in her movement.

Yet, she still remain sweet in her own way, loves watching Bill Gaither homecoming video , reading her bible and sitting in the little hut in the middle of the pond watching life passes by.

I am now trying my best to make it to see her and dad as much as I can. Time is precious.

Happy Mother's day, mom. I love you and May God Bless you richly as you have been a blessing to all of us.
