My beloved country

For the first time in history, our constituency has chosen the opposition ruling in the state level.

Before nomination day and polling day, the people of Ba Kelalan take this business seriously by spending more time in prayer and meditations. Seeking for God's heart content and counsel especially in this time of turbulent. Not to mention our battle against the spirit of darkness who has ruled our beloved state over the years - blinded our eyes, deafened our ears.

Prayer being a serious business until today.

It was indeed a touching moment, when at one point as the church begin to pray for a candidate, his father suddenly requested for another opposition candidates pictures to be placed beside his son's poster. He told everyone to pray for both of them, and ask God to lift the one He chose at this point of time. A humble father, and God feared father did the right thing and set a good example.

Day and night were spent in prayers. Intercessors alerted all the time, and things were pretty calm in the humble village of Ba Kelalan. No mass campaign, no screaming and shouted across tent involved.

Polling day came, the people has spoken. They give way to the opposition - Try for a change.

Day after the result, our church spent session praying for forgiveness and reconciliation among the two parties. They hugs. They cried. They smiled.

We know that life is not bed of roses, but we believe - God's grace and favor still abound. We are set for canaan land, leaving Egypt and will taste manna from heaven.

We love our country. We love our state. We love our homeland.

We will keep praying for our leaders. Be it government or opposition.

God bless you.
