I first met him during one of the travel fair back in year 2007. We chatted and I shared about my hometown (yes! I am passionate about my place) to which he has been heard of and longed to visit someday. I personally invite him to come anytime.
Last year, he did. Although I was in Vietnam during his visit, we managed to catch up for seafood dinner in KK and he seemed happy to have visited my place. He even gave me some tips and insights of how we can improve my dad's lodge.
And yesterday, I received the sad news. He has passed away.
I really like him as a person and it's sad that he has left early.
